In this podcast, he delves into a unique case study about Musashi Europe, a subsidiary of Musashi Seimitsu, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of automobile parts. They were looking to become global and in 2016 bought a series of manufacturing sites in Europe. Musashi Europe now has more than 3,000 employees and is operating from manufacturing sites spread across 3 different countries.
The first challenge they faced were the obvious silos between the manufacturing plants. They needed to break the silos down and create a common culture. The second challenge was their need to rapidly adapt to significant changes in the automobile industry.
