CoachingOurselves was developed by Henry Mintzberg and Phil LeNir to develop leadership capacity and improve organizational performance. The learning approach is small group reflection and dialog (i.e. peer-learning/peer-coaching). It is used by over 20,000 managers a year, in 8 languages.
The CoachingOurselves Session
The building block of a CoachingOurselves program is the 90-minute session for a small group of managers/leaders. Each session is guided by a CoachingOurselves module (i.e discussion guide) such as Accountability: It's a tricky world or Silos and Slabs in Organizations. These provide content and questions to focus discussion on day to day managerial experiences and actions to improve performance.

- Self-directed or supported by a professional facilitator.
CoachingOurselves sessions are combined to create a program or to enhance existing programs. Begin with certification for HR or L&D practitioners. CoachingOurselves is used in four ways; one off 90-min intervention to solve management or organizational issues, collaborative workshop for a management offsite or leadership forum, leadership development program or large scale change and transformation initiative.

The certification program is for experienced professionals, delivered online in a half day and includes ongoing support to ensure successful deployments.
