Leadership: The Essentials
A powerful tool for learning and development professionals.
We are pleased to introduce the topic, "Leadership: The Essentials," by Professor Jonathan Gosling.
Leadership is often a complicated puzzle—built from lists, frameworks, conferences, and training programs. While these tools are helpful, leadership is about what happens in our everyday work.
It's about balancing what we know, how we act, and the context we navigate. This peer coaching and management training guidebook challenges participants to go beyond theories and discover how leadership emerges in real situations, creating environments where everyone feels empowered to lead when necessary.
With this topic, participants explore essential themes such as leadership qualities, behavioral styles, situational factors, shared and distributed leadership, and leadership as culture. These concepts are ideas and building blocks for creating compelling, adaptable, and inclusive leadership.
L&D professionals run leadership development coaching sessions with leadership teams, and in programs for emerging leaders and new people managers.
